Alki Beach PMR site

Description

This rewarding dive is to be found off the Southern edge of Alki Beach. Swim straight out along the bottom and look for artificial reef material (discarded junk). There's quite a bit of it down here, and it's all crawling with all kinds of fishes, the usual Pacific Northwest natives and even the occasional octopus! This dive is nice and straightforward. Be sure to check this one out!

Location

The Alki PMR site is located on the southern tip of the public Alki Beach. From Seattle get on I-5 South and take the W. Seattle Freeway Exit . Take the Harbor Ave Exit and exit to right on Harbor Ave. Follow this road, along side the water, until the road turns into Beach Drive. Park at the very end of the long concrete walkway, at the very end of the public beach. You'll know you are at the right spot of you park at the end of a nice grassy slope, with a concrete walkway at the bottom, that abruptly ends where the condominiums start.
